1. Spend Time with Friends
It’s not always easy to call up a friend or plan a dinner, but research says that social connections boost happiness and health and even contribute to a longer life.
Other benefits? When you’re with a friend, your thoughts won’t be your only company. A buddy can offer advice and emotional support when you need it and let you know you matter to them. If you want to make new friends, take a class or join a club. Anything that gets you out and about--among people--is beneficial. So get social!
