Summer hours: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday
Spring break and fall /winter semester break: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday

Pharmacy

The pharmacist is available to answer any questions or concerns you may have regarding medications, or to assist you in transferring your prescriptions.

The Health Center does not stock all available medications, but instead maintains a formulary of the most commonly used medications in each medication category. To view the formulary, click HERE

If you are filling a prescription from an outside physician, please call ahead to speak with the pharmacist about the availability of the medication. In some instances the pharmacist can suggest an appropriate substitution to your physician.

The pharmacy does not stock pediatric formulations such as liquid antibiotic preparations.

Pharmacy Program Participation

The Health Center pharmacy participates in several insurance programs. The major insurers that we currently participate with are: Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Michigan, Medicaid and a variety of commercial plans.

Please bring your insurance card or pharmacy card with you to your appointment so that we can verify your eligibility and submit your claim.

HMOs, PPOs and other managed care plans often do not allow out-of-area pharmacies to submit claims.

In situations where we cannot directly bill your insurer, we will provide you with an itemized bill that you may submit yourself.
