The pursuit of graduate education is an exciting and life changing experience. Graduate education challenges students to think differently and develop both intellectually and professionally.

Northern Michigan University is dedicated to providing graduate students a wide range of experiences; including conducting original research, teaching, and practical internships. The university also provides a number of graduate assistantships through a competitive application process.

Some programs offer classes online, through interactive conferencing, and/or hybrid classes that combine the traditional classroom experience and online learning tools to create flexibility for busy professionals.
