To provide the knowledge and skills to acquire evidence-based knowledge using scientific inquiry to improve outcomes in patient care. Each of the components of the research process are explored, culminating in the development of a scholarly project proposal. The project proposal will be developed to address gaps in healthcare and to improve access to healthcare in rural settings.
