Application for admission to degree-program if originally granted permission to take graduate-level courses on a non-degree basis	Assistant Provost of Graduate Education and Research and department chairperson	During the semester in which the candidate expects to complete the 12th semester hour of graduate level work with an overall grade point average of 3.0 or better.
Filing of approved Plan of Study for provisional certification	School of Education	Prior to taking any course work in education
Development of a Graduate Plan of Study	Faculty adviser	During the semester in which the candidate expects to complete the 12th semester hour of graduate-level work with an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Admission to candidacy	Faculty adviser, department chairperson, and Assistant Provost of Graduate Education and Research	At the time the Plan of Study has been approved by the adviser, department head, and the Assistant Provost of Graduate Education & Research
Application for graduation and commencement participation	Office of Graduate Education and Research	During course registration in the semester in which the student will complete all requirements, but no later than the fourth day of the semester in which the student plans to graduate.
Graduation Fee-$25	Student Service Center	During the semester in which the degree is expected and at the time the student registers for graduation.
