How to use the Bulletin

In this Graduate Bulletin Web site you’ll find information about all of the graduate, professional development and continuing education programs offered by Northern and which classes you’ll need to take to earn your chosen degree.

The “Programs” menu link provides details about each of the departments offering the degrees.

The “Courses” link provides descriptions of all of the approved graduate-level courses (classes) and programs offered at NMU. A course schedule list for the current and upcoming semester-along with details on instructors teaching them, their meeting times and locations is on mynmu.nmu.edu. This is where you’ll go to register for classes, pay tuition, view your class schedule and grades, etc.

The “Attending NMU” and “Admissions” sections explain the steps you’ll need to take before you can register for classes and start your NMU graduate college experience. “Atternding NMU” also contains links to information on tuition and fees; financial aid; academic standards, policies and degree requirements; the notebook computer program; and student advising.

Explore the other links on the bulletin home page to learn about other facets of graduate studies at Northern.

To search for programs, degrees, course descriptions, etc., please use the search functions within the bulletin site, not the search bar at the top of the page. That search is a comprehensive NMU Web site search found on all NMU Web pages.
