Couples League

The Northern Michigan University Golf Course offers a Couples League. The league uses a shotgun start format.  Ron and Heidi Bennetts are the league organizers. For more information, e-mail golf@nmu.edu or call 906-227-3111. League standings are posted in the NMU Golf Shop.

 

In looking at the calendar and here is the “tentative “schedule of events based on snow:

May 23, 6:00 p.m. = Meet and Greet

May 30^th = 1^st night of league play = Shotgun start at 6:00 p.m.

June 6^th = Early league starting after 4:00 pm and Late League starting around 5:30 p.m.

June 13^th = Same as above

June 19^th = Same as above

June 26^th = Same as above

July 3^th = The league has to vote and decide if we play on this day or not.

July 10^th = Early league starting after 4:00 p.m. and Late League starting around 5:30 p.m.

July 17^th = Shotgun start at 6:00 p.m.

July 24^th = Early league starting after 4:00 pm and Late League starting around 5:30 pm

July 31^st = Same as above

Aug. 7^st = Same as above

Aug. 14^th = Same as above

Aug. 21 = Shotgun start at 6:00 p.m. Last week of League play

Aug. 28^nd = End of the Season Pot-luck

 

What we need to know is:

1.      Do you want to golf in the couple’s league this year?

2.      Do you want early tee times or late tee times?

3.      What dates above will you not be able to golf?

4.      Do you want to have league play on July 4^th?
