Hospitality Management Memorial Study Abroad Scholarship

This award was initially established in 2010 as a result of a gift from Mabel '44 and John Hokanson and Grace Nolingberg '34 in memory of their sister, Dorothy Roberts Kimpton '34 and proceeds from the annual Main Event held by the Hospitality Management Department. The scholarship will provide financial support to qualifying students with a hospitality management major who are completing a study abroad program.

2015 2016 - The amount and number of award(s) will vary based on fund performance, with a minimum award of $1,000 to be made annually.

Completion of one semester in the Hospitality Management program
GPA minimum:
Require 2.75
Financial need:
Preferred but not required
Additional Requirements
Submit a 250 word essay describing goals and objectives for participating in a study abroad program. Submit two letters of recommendation from faculty or industry professionals not related to the applicant.
