Krummrei - King Scholarship
Established in 1989 by Reuben and Donna Krummrei and Joseph King to provide students from Watersmeet, Gogebic County, Michigan, and Merrill, Wisconsin, the opportunity to attend college. This scholarship was created in memory of Evelyn Krummrei.

Yes. To renew this scholarship for the next academic year, the recipient must have a 3.0 GPA at the end of the preceding academic year. For example, an incoming freshman recipient with a 2.50 high school GPA must obtain a 3.0 GPA by the end of the academic year and maintain a 3.0 to receive the award in subsequent years. Students may receive the award a maximum of 4 years. Students do NOT need to reapply.
Incoming freshman and transfer students must possess a 2.50 GPA; Sophomore, Junior, Senior must have a 3.0 GPA
Must be full-time student:
First preference to Watersmeet, Michigan, high school graduates. Second preference to Merrill, Wisconsin, high school graduates. Third preference to other Gogebic County high school graduates.
