Established in 1985 by alumni and friends of Dr. Allan Niemi, NMU professor and administrator from 1949 - 1981. Dr. Niemi served as a professor and head of the Music Department and later as Vice President for Student Affairs prior to retiring in 1981.

Note: If you wish to be considered for need-based awards, you will need to file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with the Financial Aid Office.
