Dr. Jane Bemis Endowed Scholarship

Thank you for your interest in this scholarship. Unfortunately no awards for this scholarship are available for the 2011-2012 academic year. Although we cannot guarantee when funds will again be available, we encourage you to check back during the next application cycle beginning January 2012.

The Bemis Endowed Scholarship was established in June 2006 by the estate of Shirely and Godfrey Agrietsi in honor of faculty member Jane Bemis.

We are pleased to announce that we have launched a new electronic scholarship search and submission service that will make it faster and easier for you to apply for and monitor the status of your application.

If you are interested in learning more about what privately funded scholarships are available and which ones you might qualify for, please log in to MyNMU and find the Financial Aid - Foundation Scholarships link on the left hand side under Student Services.

Notifications to award recipients will begin May 2013 and continue through August 2013. You can view your financial aid information by visiting MyNMU.

Note: If you wish to be considered for need-based awards, you will need to file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with the Financial Aid Office.
