Centennial Scholarship

Established in 1998 by alumni and friends of NMU on the occasion of the university's centennial celebration and first comprehensive fundraising campaign.

Amount:	$1,000 minimum
Number awarded:	Varies
Renewable:	Yes, up to four years if 3.0 grade average is maintained
Class status:	Undergraduate
GPA minimum:	3.25 (entering freshman), 3.0 (sophomore or above)

Must be full-time student:	Yes
Must demonstrate financial need:	Yes
Selection Process Qualified applications will be reviewed by the appropriate selection committee. Recipients will be notified by the Financial Aid Office.

We are pleased to announce that we have launched a new electronic scholarship search and submission service that will make it faster and easier for you to apply for and monitor the status of your application.

Notifications to award recipients will begin May 2013 and continue through August 2013. You can view your financial aid information by visiting MyNMU.

Note: If you wish to be considered for need-based awards, you will need to file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with the Financial Aid Office.
