William and Margery Vandament Endowment Fund

Established in 1997 by friends of William and Margery Vandament, 10th president and first lady of Northern Michigan University.

Two scholarships are available for this award.  One is for a student studying abroad and the other for a new transfer student.

Additional Requirements
Students who have completed at least one full year at NMU and will spend a semester studying abroad are eligible.

Transfer students who will attend NMU and have completed at least one year of study at another institution are eligible.

Notifications to award recipients will begin May 2013 and continue through August 2013. You can view your financial aid information by visiting MyNMU.

Note: If you wish to be considered for need-based awards, you will need to file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with the Financial Aid Office.
