The Financial Aid Office is open from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (ET), Monday-Friday. We are located in 2107 C.B. Hedgcock. When you visit our office, we ask to see a photo I.D. and you will also need to inform us of your NMU identification number. You can find your NMU IN by clicking on View Account Status at http://myuser.nmu.edu

Financial Aid Award Notification
When will you know about your financial aid package for the 2009-2010 school year? New students will receive notification through the mail in mid/late March. Current NMU students will receive an e-mail or by visiting MyNMU.

Financial Aid And Enrollment Changes
If you are making any adjustments to your winter semester schedule, please review the Drop and Add Policy. We will not recalculate Federal Pell, ACG, SMART and TEACH Grants based on a change in enrollment that occurs after Jan. 20.

Making Progress
Federal law requires all students who receive financial aid to make Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) toward their degree. Students at NMU must meet all of the SAP requirements.
