EPC schedules extended summer sessions

The Educational Policy Committee scheduled three additional sessions to develop a draft Vision Statement for the Curriculum and to develop draft Criteria for the Reallocation of Resources.    The calendar for developing the criteria can be found here.

Dr. Paul Duby, Associate Vice President for Institutional Research presented  key data measures related to the Criteria for Reallocation of Resources.  The data can be found here.

Presentation: T. Seethoff (10/4/2010)

Dr. Terrance Seethoff presented a model for calculating the costs of individual majors.  The model only allocates departmental cost and treats all other costs such as Library as a constant that applies equally to all majors. Total departmental costs are allocated to the SCH in the department to produce an imputed cost per credit.  The credit load of each major is then used to allocate these departmental "charges."  The PowerPoint presentation can be downloaded here.
