Biography
Patricia Killelea is a poet, musician, and scholar. She is the author of the poetry collection Other Suns (Swan Scythe Press, 2011). Her poetry appears in such journals as Quarterly West, Waxwing, The Common, Spiritus, As/Us, cream city review, Barzakh, and others. Patricia earned her Ph.D. in Native American Studies at the University of California, Davis, and she holds a Master's degree in Creative Writing, also from UC Davis. 

Patricia is also a musician and works in digital poetics, producing video poems and other soundscapes. Her poetry films have been featured in Atticus Review, as well as Poetry Film Live  and Moving Poems. One of her video poems was recently long-listed for Rabbit Heart Poetry Film Festival (2016).

Originally from the Bay Area, California, she is currently an Assistant Professor of English at Northern Michigan University, where she teaches Creative Writing (Poetry) in their M.F.A. program as well as Native American Literature courses. She is currently Poetry Editor for the literary journal Passages North, and the Reviews Editor for the journal As/Us: A Space for Women of the World.
