Student Activities

Students working on model bridgeStudents enrolled in programs offered through the Engineering Technology Department are involved in a wide variety of hands-on, creative activities.

As a student in the department, you'll work with our mini-BAJA and hybrid mini-BAJA vehicles, compete against other college programs on national and international levels, become involved with alternative energy projects or build a bridge out of balsa wood (pictured) to determine the strengths and weaknesses of this type of structure.

In and out of class, there are several activities designed to offer engineering technology students opportunities to gain experience, hone teamwork skills and become a part of the larger campus community.
