Cale Polkinghorne is an instructor in the areas of Computer Numerical Control (CNC), Manufacturing, Machining, and Industrial Technology Education. Cale received three degrees from Northern Michigan University including his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology Education, master’s degree in Education Administration, and his educational specialist degree in Educational Leadership. Cale also received his doctoral degree from Central Michigan University. He holds a Michigan professional teaching certificate and several vocational certifications including machine tool operation, aviation power plant technology, and aviation transportation. His past work experience includes being an aviation machinist in the U.S. Coast Guard and a metals manufacturing teacher at Marquette Senior High School. His wife Melissa teaches first grade at Superior Hills Elementary School in Marquette, Michigan.
