Seth Kratz is the Department of Engineering Technology’s Outstanding Graduate for the 2013-14 Academic Year.  

Seth grew up on a farm just outside of Caro, Michigan and was involved in 4-H and the Caro Swim Club. In high school he was on the varsity football team, swim team, and track and field team. Graduating with a 3.9 he chose to attend Northern Michigan University in Electrical Engineering Technology.
  
At NMU Seth has worked as the Center for Student Enrichment as an Assistant Volunteer Coordinator and is currently there as the Volunteer Coordinator. He has volunteered to work on many projects in the department including a digital picture frame for NMU Admissions.

Academically he has been on the Dean’s list every semester he has been at NMU and currently has a 3.86 gpa. He received his Associate degree in Electrical Technology with a Power Technician concentration in the spring of 2013 and will graduate in May of 2014 with his bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering Technology.
