It is the mission of Northern Michigan University School of Education to provide opportunities for students to become professional educators who strive to continuously develop and maintain themselves as models of wise and good democratic citizenship, as knowledgeable and skillful practitioners, and as professionals who enhance their practice through reflection, inquiry and scholarship.
