Student Organizations

There are nearly 300 student organizations on the Northern Michigan University campus.  Among the most active groups with an education-related focus is the combined student group, Student Michigan Education Association (SMEA) and the Michigan Student Council for Exceptional Children (SCEC).

This group serves the academic and career needs of future professionals in education and other related areas. They are also a low-cost way to obtain valuable research information, career advice and peer support.  For more information, go to the SMEA/SCEC Website.
