Hello! My name is Marissa Brooks; I’m currently in my third year at Northern, but originally from the Metro Detroit area. I have a cabin in Paradise, MI, so I’ve been coming to the U.P my whole life, which has lead me to going to school at Northern. I am an elementary education major with a double minor in mathematics and integrated sciences. I absolutely cannot wait until I have my own classroom. In my spare time, I like to go hiking, four wheeling, camping, and spending time with my family.
