The President's Diversity Committee is dedicated to providing an understanding of the diverse cultural and ethical backgrounds of students, faculty, staff and community members. Several events take place each year at Northern Michigan University. Annual events and projects linked below will highlight some of the ways the committee is working to accomplishes its goals. The annual Learning to Walk Together Powwow, pictured here, is an example of an NMU event that helps to foster diversity on campus.
