Brent Rosten

Former NMU graduate earns Officer of the Year Award

Former Northern Michigan University criminal justice major and retiree of the Michigan National Guard, Brent Rosten was recently awarded Marquette County's 2007 Police Officer of the Year Award.

Trooper Brent Rosten is a part of the Negaunee Police Post of the Michigan State Police. He was selected by members of the County Law Enforcement Administrators Association, who recognizes officers for demonstrating honesty, integrity and excellence in the pursuit of justice in their daily routines. Rosten graduated NMU in 1993.
