NMU Criminal Justice Students Visit Sault Sainte Marie

The NMU Criminal Justice Association recently took a field trip to visit the U.S. Customs Port of Entry office, the Homeland Security Investigations office, U.S. Border Patrol, and Chippewa County Jail in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. During the field trip all the offices were kind enough to talk the NMU CJ Association and give a tour of their respective offices. All departments also gave presentations on the equipment and technology used in their day to day operations. It was an educational and rewarding experience for the participating students of the NMU CJ Association. A special thank you to Officer Dan Buhro of the U.S. Customs office in Sault Sainte Marie for the special attention given to the university.
