Loss prevention 4.0 honor graduate

A Summa Cum Laude graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Loss Prevention Management graduated from Northern Michigan University in May of 2011 and was recently honored at the annual Honor's Banquet at NMU.
Laura is employed as a Regional Director of Loss Prevention for Kohl’s Department stores ( http://www.kohls.com ) and oversees 65 stores in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. Laura maintained a 4.0 GPA while at NMU and has achieved outstanding results in all levels of her career.
A veteran of the US Army, Laura the started her professional career as a military police officer. During her service Laura was the top graduate in her company and received many awards including a commendation for apprehending a terrorist.
At Kohl’s Laura is known for consistently delivering great results while developing future leaders for the company. She also volunteers her time at different organizations in her community through the Kohls’ Associates in Action program, a program that benefits children’s charities in the communities that Kohl’s serves.Through Laura’s leadership her region leads the company for participation in charity events raising more than $50,000 for local children’s charities.
In the little free time she has, Laura enjoys spending time with her two children, playing ice hockey and golf.
