John Shuler has worked for Target for the past 16 years.  He currently holds the title of Senior Investigator and is part of Target’s Investigations Team.  He is based out of Metro Detroit were his areas of responsibility include investigating Organized Retail Crime as it relates to theft and fraud.  From 2000 thru 2009 John was a member of the Detroit Metro Identity Theft Task Force, a Federal Task Force focusing on Organized Identity Theft.  John is currently the President of the Michigan Chapter of the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators.  Over the last 10 years John has done presentations for Law Enforcement agencies, Universities, and private organizations with regards to organized crime investigations.  John obtained his bachelor degree from Northern Michigan University, where his major was Loss Prevention Management and a minor in Criminal Justice.  John is also a (CFCI) Certified Financial Crimes Investigator.
