Online Instruction
Coursework is presented, disseminated, and evaluated totally online. Face-to-face meetings are not held during course instruction or for any activity (projects, tests, etc.).
An introductory meeting to form a cohort for a program may be held and students may be required to attend specific classes or orientations as part of a program.
A learning management system is recommended to organize material and activities within a standardized format, enabling students to identify like elements across classes (e.g. syllabus, discussion groups, tests).
Technology used could include:
- Course management system via EduCat
- MediaSite Live
- Streaming video/audio via WildCast
- E-reserves
- ITV
