New Supervisor Workshop
Whether you are new to the supervisory level or a seasoned professional, you will learn valuable tips and techniques that you can apply to the workplace immediately.
- "Great news! I'm promoted to a supervisor! Uh, now what?" Learn the basic laws, how to manage your team, and gain trust. Learn the various labor and employment laws that you encounter every day. Prevent discrimination, harassment and retaliation while building effective teams.
- "Harassment Awareness." What is the difference between harassment, sexual harassment, bullying and retaliation? This session will help you address these issues and stay out of hot water with all kinds of regulatory agencies.
- "The four generations in the workforce" - Understand the traits of your generation and how to effectively work with and/or for (!) another generation.
- "Effective Employee Discipline" - Does your stomach end up in knots when you have to terminate an employee's employment? Do you find yourself ignoring employee problems hoping they will just ...go away? Get rid of those knots and follow these steps to either turn the poor performance around or discipline progressively.
