Michigan Association of Real Estate Appraisers (MAREA)

MAREA was founded in 1993 with the gathering of 35 Michigan real estate appraisers who’s goal was to form a statewide association for the purpose of promoting continuing education opportunities for appraisers. Membership is open to all Michigan real estate appraisers; associate members may include other interested persons and organizations such as lenders and government agencies. Today, MAREA membership has grown to approximately 400 members.

Dues are $125 for one-year membership and $200 for two-year membership. Members are entitled to substantial discounts on tuition.

Appraisers may also use this web site to search for approved continuing education courses and review the continuing education credits recorded for their current licensure year.
