NCLL Presents 'U.P. in 3-D'

 

            MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will host a 3–D tour of the Upper Peninsula in its early years of development from 7-8 p.m. Monday, May 13. The presentation will take place in Mead Auditorium located in the West Science Building.

            Jack Deo, a community photographer and historian, will present photos of the Upper Peninsula beginning in the late 1800s, when immigrants began settling in different towns and villages.  He will also show pictures of early mining operations, landscapes, fishing, logging and much more that was taking place at the time.

The cost is $2 for NCLL members and $5 for non-members. Register before Monday, May 6, by calling 906-227-2979.
