MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Michigan University Board of Trustees recently approved the cancellation of NMU classes in observance of Martin Luther King Day, effective next month. Classes will not be held on Jan. 21, 2013, or on any future Martin Luther King Day. University offices will remain open and staff will report to work.
