MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer a course titled “Hands-On with Leather” at 1 p.m. on three dates. Session one will be held on Monday, Oct. 15, at the Jacobetti Home for Veterans. Session two will follow on Monday, Nov. 19, and Wednesday, Dec. 12, both at the Marquette Senior Center.
            Participants will learn basic embossing and staining, create a leather belt and receive instruction on making leather moccasins.

This class costs $10 for NCLL members and $15 for non-members. Register by Tuesday, Oct. 9, by calling  227-2979.
