MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer an Alder and Pinnacle Falls hike with a lunch stop at Thomas Rock Park on Tuesday, Oct. 9. Participants will meet at 8 a.m. at the Berry Events Center’s east parking lot to carpool.
This will be a hike to two of the most accessible waterfalls in the Big Bay area. Each waterfall is a two-mile round trip, including some steep, narrow trail to reach the gorge.
The class is free for NCLL members and $5 for non-members, but all participants must bring a contribution for gas. Register by Wednesday, Oct. 3, by calling 227-2979.
