MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present “A Visit to the Land of Nepal and Tibet” at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 3, in the Superior Dome’s room 101-B.
            Bill Thompson, outdoor enthusiast and world traveler, has visited the countries for the past 12 years and will discuss his most recent trip in September 2011. He will also share digital images that illustrate the area’s geography and people

            There is no charge to attend. A free will donation after the talk will benefit an orphanage in the region that Thompson supports. Register by Friday, April 27, by calling 227-2979.
