MARQUETTE, Mich.— The French Club at Northern Michigan University will present a classic silent film with live grand piano accompaniment on Thursday, Dec. 1. The screening begins at 7 p.m. in the Erie Room of the University Center. It is open to the public. Donations will be accepted.

            Cyrano de Bergerac is a 1925 silent film directed by Augusto Genina and starring Pierre Magnier. Bob Buchkoe of Marquette will provide authentic musical accompaniment on grand piano during the screening. Refreshments will follow.
