guestseatingTickets are not required for NMU's commencement ceremony. The Superior Dome seats approximately 8,000 people. Parents and guests should arrive early (between 9:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.) to avoid traffic congestion driving into the Superior Dome area and to obtain seating of their choice. The Superior Dome opens at 9:30 a.m. on commencement day.

There will be reserved seats available for family members who attend the honors breakfast and for physically challenged individuals and their families.  Reservations are NOT required.  Questions can be directed to Degree Evaluations at 906-227-2257.  Attendees can contact a Commencement Staff member -- they wear gold name-plate pins --   for assistance locating a wheelchair for transportation to the reserved seating or any other questions or concerns.
