When possible, drop p.m. or a.m. rather than repeat it. Student orientation will be from 8:30-10:30 a.m.
To avoid confusion, use noon and midnight rather than 12:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. I thought they wanted to meet us at midnight, but they really wanted to meet us at noon.
