The faculty of the Northern Michigan University radiography program is excited to learn that you are considering diagnostic imaging (radiography) as your educational and career goal. We welcome the opportunity to share our interests and experience in the profession and our program with you.
In an effort to provide you with the most current and comprehensive information about the program and our profession, you must attend an admission advisement session. Program faculty will provide an overview of our profession: job duties, salaries and employment opportunities; discuss program requirements: curriculum, clinical practicum and program completion; and explain the competitive application process.
The radiography program at NMU is a sequential curriculum program offered to a limited enrollment. Thus acceptance into the program means applicants must meet minimum requirements and deadlines in order to qualify for the competitive application process.
Students are still required to meet with their assigned academic advisers from the university. This advisement session is only for admission to the radiography program.
We encourage you to attend an admission session as soon as possible. Attendance is mandatory and must be documented as part of the application process. Reservations are required. To register for a session please contact a faculty member at 906-227-2868 or 906-227-2845.
Admission advisement sessions are held in the program classroom:
NMU West Science Room 2609 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
October 10, 2014
If you cannot attend a scheduled session please contact a program official to cancel your reservation. Space is limited to 30 applicants per session. We look forward to meeting with you.
