Located in the Seaborg Science Complex, all of the Clinical Sciences Department laboratories labs are state-of-the-art for teaching and practicum purposes, and are considered among some of the finest university facilities in the Midwest.

Students majoring in diagnostic genetics may also have the opportunity to work in the cytogenic and molecular pathology laboratory in West Science that is shared by Marquette General Health System and NMU. This is MGH’s working lab for all cytogenic and molecular testing for the Upper Peninsula. This lab received accreditation in May 2008 from the College of American Pathologists, making it one of about 6,000 CAP-accredited laboratories nationwide.
