Dr. Floyd Slotterback,
Professor of Music

DMA, University of Iowa

Slotterback teaches choral music-related courses and directs all choirs at NMU, including the University Choir/Lake Effect, Marquette Choral Society, and the Upper Peninsula Youth Choir. He also teaches Music in Society (service course for liberal studies credit), music theory, sight-singing and ear training, and choral methods. Slotterback serves on statewide boards for the Michigan School Vocal Music Association and the American Choral Director's Association.
