Ashley Foster

 

 

 

Ashley is from Buffalo Grove, Illinois. She earned an associate degree in criminal justice in December 2012 and will graduate in May 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in forensic biochemistry. While at NMU, Ashley has demonstrated academic excellence and has also been very active outside the classroom. She has been a ­member of the Women’s Club Soccer Team for her entire time at Northern and was president of the club for three years. She has also been a member of the All Student Judiciary and the Student Finance Committee and active in the Student Leader Fellowship Program. She has been a volunteer and an intern with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Marquette and Alger Counties, interned with the Marquette City Police Department and spent a summer interning with a law firm in Dublin, Ireland. Ashley has also worked for the Campus Visit Program for several semesters setting up and coordinating visits for prospective students and working with events like Wildcat Weekend. She hopes to start work as a forensic investigator or an evidence technician and later obtain a master’s degree in forensic science.
