Community Presentations

The staff, director and student interns, of Northern Michigan University’s Center for Economic Education and Entrepreneurship make several community presentations each year in an ongoing effort to education the general population as a whole to the importance of economic education for their children and in their local schools. 

School boards, economic clubs, service clubs and other community groups in the Upper Peninsula who are interested in sponsoring a session on marketplace economics and entrepreneurship, financial literacy, career preparation, marketplace economics and entrepreneurship, money and banking, decision-making, entrepreneurship, and in consumerism are encouraged to contact the NMU-CEEE at ceee@nmu.edu or 906-227-1218.  

Presentations can range from just a few minutes to a few hours, depending on what kinds of materials you’d like to cover. We might even quiz you on your own economic literacy!
