NMU Graduate Survey Results

Each year, the Career Services Office is responsible for surveying graduates from all degree programs offered at Northern Michigan University. These survey results provide a comprehensive picture of the success NMU graduates have as it relates to their career and continuing education endeavors.

Please note the following as you examine the graduate survey results:

Each report below encompasses participants from three commencement exercises.
- 2011-2012 survey year: August 2011, December 2011, May 2012
- 2010-2011 survey year: August 2010, December 2010, May 2011
- 2009-2010 survey year: August 2009, December 2009, May 2010
Cumulative Graduate Survey report results are a compilation of graduate responses from August 1998 – May 2012.
"Employed" and "Continuing Education" are not mutually exclusive choices on the NMU Graduate Survey. Therefore, the cumulative percentages listed for these two choices for some majors may exceed 100%. If the percentages do not add up to 100%, some respondents to the survey have indicated that they are either “employed” and “continuing education” OR “unemployed” and “continuing education.”
Percentages indicated are the percent of those responding to the survey.

Graduate Summary - All University	Indicates the number and percent of graduates who indicate that they are employed or continuing their education.
Graduate Summary - By Major	Indicates the number and percent of graduates by major and degree level who indicate their status.
Employed and/or Continuing Education - Bachelors	Report noting those bachelor degree recipients who indicated employment status and/or continuing education status.
Employed and/or Continuing Education - Graduate	Report noting those graduate degree recipients who indicated employment status and/or continuing education status.
Employed and/or Continuing Education - Non-baccalaureate	Report noting those non-baccalaureate degree recipients who indicated employment status and/or continuing education status.
