Job Postings

Career Services maintains comprehensive online job listings through Cat Career Tracks.   Posted positions are viewable by NMU students and alumni only.  There is no cost to post a job, and we do not share information with non-NMU entities.  Created with you in mind, Cat Career Tracks provides participating employers with the ability to:

• Visit one centralized online location to post and manage an unlimited number of jobs
• Set parameters for your job openings
• Receive email reminders when a student applies for jobs and when a posting is about to expire
• Full access to search for participating students and download their resumes
• Manage student applicants for on-campus interviews
• Register online for career events like job fairs

If you are looking to post a temporary or one-time position (shoveling, gardening, babysitting, etc.), please click here for instructions.

Please remember that there may be a delay in seeing your posting, as our office approves each posting individually.  Please also note that our office hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.  Jobs submitted after that time will not be approved & posted until Monday morning.  Thank you!

Internship Opportunities

Internships are an excellent way for your company to provide hands-on skills and experiences to NMU students.  Many students who complete an internship remain with the company that sponsored their internship - it's a situation that benefits both the employer and the student.  If you have questions regarding internships, please contact Steve LaFond, Assistant Director.

First-Time Cat Career Tracks Users:

If you received an email to register:

1. Check your email for your user name and password.
2. Head to the login page: www.myinterfase.com/NMU/employer
3. Put in your user name and password.
4. To get started, complete any missing profile information, and change your password after your first login:

1. Near the upper left corner, click on “My Profile.”
2. In the “Profile View” tab, scroll down to “Contact Information” and click “Edit.”
3. Change your password and make sure to click “Save.”

If you did not receive an email:

1. Head to the login page: www.myinterfase.com/NMU/employer
2. Click “Click here to register!”
3. Search for your organization, and follow the on-screen instructions
