The Cat Career Conference is your opportunity to jump-start your career and professional development.  Join us on Saturday, November 1, 2014 for this day-long conference at the University Center to learn about how you can take charge of your future! With four tracks and twenty sessions to choose from, you can tailor your conference experience to fit your needs.  Plus, you'll get FREE breakfast AND lunch!

To register for the conference, sign in to Cat Career Tracks and click on the "Job Fairs, Workshops, and Info Sessions" tab.  From there, you'll be able to search for the Conference.  Click on the "Register Now" button to sign up!  After you register, you'll be sent an email with a link, where you'll go to select your sessions.  Click here to download an instructional card. Pre-registration is required, as space is limited.  This event is free for students.

To make it easy to choose your sessions, we’ve grouped them into four different tracks – Beginners, Beginners+, Job Seekers, and Job Seekers+.  Each track roughly corresponds to your year in school – but sign up for any session that interests you, and you can certainly change your mind before November!  There are offerings from many different departments on campus, and a variety of topics, from Choosing Your Major, to Developing a Professional Presence, to Workplace Communications. Click here for a downloadable copy of the day's agenda, and here for session descriptions.

Pre-registration is required, as space is limited.

Because this event has such limited space, registration is only open to current NMU students.  Alumni are welcome to attend if there are still open spaces after October 25.  An invitational email will be sent out at that time if space is available.  Registration will be on a first-come-first-serve basis at that time, but still with no cost.

At this time we do not plan to accept registrations from non-alumni/non-students.
