Qualifications:	(MUST HAVE WORK STUDY) Must meet the employment standards outlined in the Student Employee Handbook. Strong communication and listening skills. Must have knowledge of and familiarity with Microsoft Office computer applications. Must possess at least the minimum computer keyboarding skills. Must be friendly, polite, tactful, and helpful in dealing with the public and members of the University community. *Other desireable qualifications: ability to write effectively, good organizational skills, previous office experience or experience working with the public.

Duties:	To assist full-time college staff by performing various office and clerical duties. Greet office visitors and provide with appropriate assistance. Answer telephones, take messages, route calls, pick up and distribute mail, relay information to appropriate staff member. Operate office equipment such as the computer, typewriter, copier, and a fax machine. Type routine correspondence, labels, envelopes, and forms. File various materials as directed. Perform courier duties between campus offices as needed. Complete special tasks as assigned. Maintain strict confidentiality. Always work in a safe manner.
