Paul Truckey has been a member of the NMU Theatre faculty since 2003.  He teaches a variety of courses including Acting, Audition, Musical Theatre Performance, Modern Drama, Introduction to Theatre, and Directing Theory. Paul’s recent NMU directing credits include A Flea in Her Ear, The Mousetrap, Actlete’s, The Foreigner, The Full Monty, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Tell-Tale, Closer Than Ever, Burning Mona Lisa in the Reptile House, and Our Town. Among his acting credits are leading roles in over 50 productions including Les Miserables’ (Broadway and National Companies), The Fantasticks, The Problem, Utah, Sunday in the Park with George, Romeo and Juliet, Nine, Three Sisters, The Mikado, and She stoops to Conquer.   He also performs numerous solo and cabaret shows each year benefiting charitable causes.  He serves as a adjudicator for productions entered into the American College Theatre Festival.   He received an MFA in Musical Theatre Performance from the University of Nevada – Las Vegas. He is a member of the Actor’s Equity Association.
