Achievements
Two NMU employees successfully completed the certification process in their respective areas. Tom Helgren (Auxiliary Services) is recognized as a Certified Auxiliary Services Professional—the premier designation for higher education auxiliary and ancillary services—by the National Association of College Auxiliary Services (NACAS). Jim Thams (Engineering and Planning) is recognized as a Certified Educational Facilities Professional by the American Physical Plant Association (APPA). The CEFP credential is for both aspiring and existing senior-level educational facilities professionals with five or more years of experience.
