A creative non-fiction essay by April Lindala (Center for Native American Studies) titled "For the Healing of All Women" was published in the anthology, The Way North: Collected Upper Peninsula New Works from WSU Press and edited by Ron Riekki. Spanning eighteen years, the essay is a cyclical narrative celebrating the making of and caring for a jingle dress.
